Homemade Pancake Recipe



Yummy pancake recipe made from scratch…….

I usually don’t cook from scratch but every once in a while,when I am in the cooking mood, I will make these yummy homemade pancakes.

Today, I have Elijah helping me in the kitchen.  I like when he wants to help out cause I feel like it is a bonding moment and we get to spend quality time together.

Let’s get started….



2 Cups of Buttermilk

2 Large Eggs

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1/4 Cup butter (melted then let it cool)

3 Tablespoons Sugar

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1/2 Teaspoon Salt


You want to get 2 bowls, one for your dry ingredients and the other for wet ingredients.

*Add your buttermilk, eggs and butter in a bowl and whisk together.

*In the other bowl, add your flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Whisk all together.


Add your wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.

Now you can add chocolate chips, bananas, blueberries or just keep them plain. Cook as usual and enjoy!


TinyTip:  You can use olive oil instead of butter to cook the pancakes. When you use olive oil, you will get that amazing nice crunchy edge on the pancake. It is very yummy either way! You just need a teaspoon of olive oil in the pan, not to much.
