New recipe!! The Taco Crescent Ring is so easy to make and it only requires 6 ingredients to make….Let’s get started…
You will need:
1. Taco seasoning mix (your choice)
2. Two cans of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
3. 1 pound of ground beef
4. 3/4 cups of nacho cheese tortilla chips ( I didn’t use this in the meal but I did eat them while I was cooking…Lol)
5. 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
6. Taco sauce
Brown the meat first then add the taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water. Mix good and let it simmer for a little bit. Then add the cheddar cheese and stir till its melted.
After that’s done, set aside for later
Open the crescent rolls and lay them open on a non-greased baking pan
Then, add the taco meat to the edge of the crescent rolls. You can add the taco sauce to your meat at this time. I didn’t add the sauce because we all don’t like it on our food. I let them add it at the end.
So, I totally forgot to drain the excess grease from the pan before I started adding the taco meat. It wasn’t greasy at all but it did make a mess on the baking sheet.
When your done adding the meat, you want to grab the crescent dinner rolls and pull it over. You can lift the bottom of the ring if you have excess dough.
Then place the baking sheet into the oven for 375 degrees. It takes about 20 minutes, give or take, just watch for the dough to get golden brown.
I served it with a regular salad and some tomatoes.
These heat up well too if you have left overs! Enjoy!
