Today I am sharing with you my under the kitchen sink organization. The cabinets under your kitchen sink can be just as messy as the junk drawer. Its a nice big space you can toss all your things, close the cabinet doors and nobody will ever see the hidden mess. That worked great until I got annoyed with trying to get something way in the back and knocked over everything in its path There has to be a better way. Here is how I organize under my kitchen sink cabinet.
Here is a complete view of under the sink. I don’t know about you but someone needs to create these pipes prettier. Those things are so ugly to look at.
I purchased the 3 white baskets from the The Dollar Tree. On the side of the cabinet I just put a knock off version of the command hooks. The ones I purchased was from The Dollar Tree and they work very well. This is where I hang the rag I am currently using to dry.
These hooks are good for controlling your wires too.
The first basket holds my kitchen trash bags, small waste basket trash bags, extra double sided sponges, microfiber cloths, disposable gloves (for cleaning the bathrooms etc).
The Ziploc bag hold some file sized rubber bands I use for the garbage can. I just HATE when you throw something away and the whole bag falls inside….UGH!! If you put the garbage bag inside the bin and wrap the rubber bands over the garbage bag, it will stay in place no matter how heavy the item is that you are throwing away.
The middle basket holds all of my homemade cleaning sprays. The bottles and labels were purchased from The Dollar Tree as well. I will do another post in the future giving you the recipes that I use for my sprays. I also have a air freshener that I am trying to finish up.
The last basket holds all my stove cleaning products. I have a glass top stove so I can only use certain things so I wont scratch the glass top. I am currently using the Cerama Bryte products and they work well for me. If anyone has a DIY recipe for glass top stoves please let me know. I keep my Cascade for my dishwasher and some garbage disposal pellets. A great DIY recipe for the garbage disposal is lemon and ice. Cut up a lemon into small pieces and add them into a ice tray fill it with water and freeze. You can put them in a Ziploc bag when frozen and make more. Just pop 1-2 lemon filled ice cubes in the disposal and your done. It smells lemony and the ice helps remove some of the junk that hangs on to the blades. I also have some Gojo hand cleaner & brillo
All the way in the back I just put some extra items that I have multiples of. I got when there was a good deal Gotta love a deal!!
I hope you enjoyed my under kitchen sink cabinet organization and can give you some ideas on how to tackle that jungle of mess you may have. Come back for more TinyTips!!!
